Export and share
PowerPoint and PDF downloads, plus links that open the live deck.
There are two ways a deck leaves Riplo Slides: as a file, or as a link. They suit different moments, and the choice usually comes down to whether you want people seeing the latest version or a fixed one.
Export to a file
| Format | When to use it |
|---|---|
| PowerPoint | When the deck has to be edited elsewhere, attached to an email, or merged into someone else's pack. Text, shapes and charts come across as native PowerPoint objects. |
| When the version needs to be fixed and the layout must not move on another machine. |
Both are available from the deck's share and export panel in the editor.
Share a link
A share link opens the deck in a viewer with no sign-in required. You choose what the link gives people:
| Link type | What the recipient gets |
|---|---|
| Live deck | They open the deck and always see the current version, including changes you make after sending it. |
| PDF or PowerPoint | They get a download of the deck rather than the live workspace. |
Straight from your assistant
You do not have to come back into the editor to get the file. A connected assistant can produce the PowerPoint export for a deck in the same conversation where you built it, so the finished file lands where you are already working.
That version looks right. Export it to PowerPoint and give me the file.
Who can do what
Export and link sharing are controlled by the deck's access. Whoever owns the deck, or an administrator for your organisation, manages its links. People given a view-only link cannot turn around and reshare the deck themselves.
