When something looks wrong
The common symptoms and what usually fixes them.
Most problems fall into a small number of shapes. Find the symptom below before assuming something is broken.
| Symptom | Usually means |
|---|---|
| The assistant says it cannot find your decks | The connection is not switched on for this conversation. Turn it on in the connectors or plugins menu and try again. |
| Sign-in starts but never finishes | Remove the connector, add it again, and sign in from a clean window. |
| You cannot add the connector at all | Your workspace may not allow custom connections. An administrator can approve it once for everyone. |
| The assistant can read decks but not change them | The connection is signed in with read-only permissions. Check the access on your account. |
| A slide did not change the way you asked | The instruction was probably ambiguous about which slide or which element. Say the slide number and the specific element, then ask again. |
| The deck looks nothing like your template | The deck was likely started without one. Say which template to use and ask for the existing slides to be rebuilt on it. |
| A long build is taking a while | Decks are built and visually checked slide by slide, so a large deck genuinely takes longer than a single slide. This is expected. |
